Terms of Service

PINSONNADE (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates Mirandol, available as a mobile application (the “App”) on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and as a web platform (the “Website”). These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the App and the Website (together, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
The Service is an educational knowledge competition. It lets you answer questions, track an Elo rating, connect with friends, and compete on the App and the Website.
We may update, pause, or discontinue features of the Service at any time.
2. Accounts
You may create an account using Google, Apple, or form-based login. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials confidential.
You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us at hello@elo.world.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and in good faith. You may not:
- Cheat, exploit, or interfere with ratings, questions, friend relationships, or other users.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or to other accounts.
- Copy, scrape, or redistribute Service content except as allowed by these Terms.
- Use the Service in a way that harms PINSONNADE, other users, or the operation of the App or Website.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
4. Children’s use
Mirandol is an educational game that can be used by children. We encourage parents and guardians to supervise their children’s use of the App and Website.
5. Intellectual property
PINSONNADE and its licensors own the Service, including the App, Website, quizzes, ratings presentation, branding, and related content. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own, non-commercial play.
6. Third-party services
The Service uses trusted third parties as needed to operate, including Google Analytics, authentication providers (Google, Apple), and push and web notification providers. Your use of those providers may also be subject to their own terms.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that ratings, questions, rankings, or availability will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PINSONNADE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, or competitive standing, arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
